What is Pet Insurance ?
——Similar to health insurance for humans, pet insurance covers the cost of medical treatments for unexpected injuries and illnesses, but with more flexibility and better coverage.
Accident & Illness
Total peace of mind for you and your pet.
If your pet has an accident or becomes ill, you’ll want to give him or her the best care, without worrying about the expense. The cost of an illness – even just the diagnosis – can be high. Accident & Illness coverage means you’re as prepared as you can be.

How We Can Pay Your Bills
Let us pay your bill right after leaving the hospital
f your pet suffers an accident, illness or injury that may be covered by this pet insurance policy, visit a veterinary clinic within forty-eight (48) hours after first noticing clinical sign(s) for treatment, then complete and send to us a claim form describing the loss as soon as practicable but no later than ninety (90) days after the date of treatment.
We will need copies of invoices from the treating veterinary facility showing the treatments administered, the fees charged; and proof of payment (i.e. receipt and/or invoice showing zero balance due).
In order to assess a claim, we require full medical records from any veterinarian who has treated your pet. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in a claim not being covered.
Visit any licensed vet, emergency clinic, or specialist in the US. There's no network of providers to worry about.
Pay your bill at the vet, then send us your claim along with vet records and an invoice from the visit.
Petplan will follow-up with your vet for any missing info. Claims are processed in less than 2 weeks.
